After testing data
has been compiled and disseminated, parents are notified if their son/daughter
has qualified by mail. Two notices will
be sent out. If there is no response, a
“no objections” will be marked, and the student will remain in the
program. A Student Learning Plan will
also be created for each student, identifying areas for the teacher, student,
and parent to focus on. Progress on this
plan will be sent home each Trimester.
Parents may request that their son/daughter be removed from the program
at any time.
Explanations are
provided to parents on the district’s website, and during parent open house
night. Further information is provided
during the Title I Annual parent meeting in the spring. Additional meetings may be called, as needed, and additional information may be provided during
other school activities/programs. Any
parent/guardian may request a meeting with the principal, teacher, or other
support staff. This meeting will be
granted, within a reasonable amount of time.

information about the way this program is being utilized in class.
Qualifications are
based on recent WASL scores and a building assessment, called Ed

both of these scores, if you would like further information.
