Walter Strom Middle School offers its students a comprehensive technology skills program based on state grade level outcomes and the individual needs of each student.
| Computer Applications Class Overview: Students in Walter Strom Middle School's Computer Applications class develop real-world technology skills through a mock business project. Each student creates an imaginary business, plans for the daily operation of the business, creates a business logo using graphics software and then develops a website to market their products/services using Adobe Dreamweaver. Additionally, students create a payroll spreadsheet for their business and conclude the project by creating animated banner ads for their website using Adobe Flash. | |||||
